Command Decision - Cold Wars - Thursday - Poland 1939  Reply with quote

Jake,

I have pre-registered for your 1939 Poland Scenario on Thursday @ 12:00 noon. I am really excited about partcipating. Unfortunately, I will be arriving just in the nick of time to participate. My flight lands at 11:30 am at the Lancaster airport (just down the road from the Host). I am hoping you can hold my spot as I WILL be there. Who knows what airlines and registration will suck up for time. In fact I am hoping to get there in time to assume command of the Polish forces. Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Mike,

No worries - there is a Lancer Regiment that arrives on Turn 2, another one that arrives on turn 3, and the 71st Armored Group arriving on turn 4 - so I'm sure we can squeeze you into the Polish forces.

There are two sets of pictures posted here. The 1st set is of the battle on Thursday at Cold Wars. The Polish Cavalry were on the attack and were required to seize rail crossings held by the Germans. The second set is from Saturday's fight "Battle of Mokurn". The German Blitz was on and were to seize 6 of 9 objectives (4 rail crossings & 5 towns). They captured 2 rail crossings and 4 towns.

That's very cool. I can't wait 'til the early war supplement hits the shelves.....
