Howdy,

In two weeks, we'll be moving. Any CDers in Birmingham?

Ponder on,

JAS

There are a few options that I know of:

a) Check out http://www.gulfcoastgamersclub.com/index.php/game-days for gaming (I think) in Mobile (ETA: not Mobile, they're on the Mississippi Gulf Coast).

b) Hattiesburg is about 4 hours away - there is a large CD contingent there. OT is putting on a game Dec. 5.

c) Baton Rouge is about 6 hours away - we play here once a quarter - next game is Jan. 30, 2010.

Jessie,

As Sal said you have some folks in comuting distance and we all have to drive through Birmingham to get to Historicon, Cold Wars etc. There have been a few conventions in Birmingham so the posibility for gamers is good, you may have to convert them to TOB. Very Happy Good luck with the move. We'll be glad to have you in the South. Very Happy

Or the deeper South, to be exact. But you'll be further from Historicon. Crying or Very sad

Hey! This is for the benefit of any third parties who see this thread because Jessee has made contact with some of us locals already. But yes, there are some once-and-future CDers around Birmingham. For general local gaming, which includes some historical games and hopefully will see Jessee's CD-ToB demo later this month, visit our Steel City Board:

(Disclaimer: We talk like ex-soldiers.. Sorry. Very Happy )
